CE marking
All Prolid doors are CE marked to
conform to the Construction Products
Directive according to the relevant
standard EN13241-1. Poweroperated
doors are also CE marked
to conform to the Machinery Directive,
the Low Voltage Directive and the
EMC Directive.
Insulation value
U-value 1,3W/(m2/K) calculated
according to EN12428 for a fully
covered 4x4 m door.
Air permeability
Class 3, 4,7 m3/m2 h, according
to EN12426.
Mechanical durability
Dimensioned and tested for one
million opening cycles according
to EN12605.
Water permeability
Class 2 according to EN12425.
Wind load capacity
Class 3, 4 or 5 depending on the
size. Tested and classified according
to EN12444 and EN12424.

Fittings and guides
Made from steel plate, hot dip
galvanized and/or zinc plated.
Spring shaft
Diameter 25.4 mm, solid and
hot dip galvanized.
Windows
Insulating plastic glazing units with
two 2.5 mm acrylic plastic panes.
5-year warranty against condensation
between the panes. Window frames
made from natural anodized
aluminium profiles with broken
thermal bridges.
Pull handles
Natural anodized aluminium handles
on the inside and outside with
non-slip coating.
Insulation
50 mm extruded polystyrene panel.
Locks
Sliding bar for padlocking on the
inside. Cylinder locking on the inside
and outside is available as an option.
Compatible with Assa cylinders.
Door leaf
Process laminated sandwich panels
with broken thermal bridges, bonded
with single-component polyurethane
adhesive. Section thickness 54 mm
and section height 600 mm.
Door surrounds
Steel or wood. Maximum door size
for a wooden surround is 18 m2.
Minimum 4 mm material thickness
is required in a steel surround.
Three different types of screw kit are
available depending on the type of
surround. Vertical lift available only
for steel surrounds.
Side rollers
Plastic rollers with an 11 mm steel
shaft mounted in ball bearings.

Safety
Finger crush protection in the section
joints, finger protection in the wall
guide, spring failure protection and
protection against cable failure.
Everything is designed and approved
according to EN12604.
Safety classified doors
As an option, the door can be
manufactured according to SSF
200:4 (RUS), class 2, and fitted with
a 1 mm steel plate on one side and
a security lock with cylinder locking.
Top and bottom profiles
Extruded and natural anodized
aluminium profiles.
Torsion springs
Shot peened steel springs according
to DIN 17223 type C, dimensioned
for at least 25,000 opening cycles.
A greater number of opening cycles
can be provided at an extra cost.
Seals
Top and bottom seals are made
from ageing-resistant EPDM rubber.
Intermediate and side seals are
made from ageing-resistant SEBS
plastic.
Cable drums
and spring anchorages are made
from cast aluminium.
Cables
Aircraft cable, dimensioned to
withstand six times its maximum
loading according to EN12604.
Surface
Inside and outside made of hot dip
galvanized high-strength sheet steel
(minimum YP420 N/mm2). Finished
with a 25 μm coat of polyester
lacquer.
