CE-marking
All doors, both manual and motor operated, are CE marked to conform with the Construction Product Directive, under applicable standard EN13241-1. Motor operated doors are CE marked to conform with the Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive and EMC Directive.

Insulation value
U-value 2.1 W/(m2/K) calculated in accordance with EN12428 for a fully covered 4x4 m door
Air sealing
Class 3, 3.6 m3/m2h, in accordance with EN12426 for a fully lined door.

Mechanical durability
Dimensioned and tested for 1.000.000 opening cycles in accordance with EN12605

Water sealing
Class 3 in accordance with EN12425.

Wind load capacity
Class 5 for a 4x4 m door. Tested and classified in accordance with EN12444 and EN12424.
 
Fittings installed on door blade
Steel, welded on and hot dip galvanised.
  
Windows
Insulation glazing units D4-12, in any size, but not higher than 1500 mm. Windows are always made the full width of the door blade. Standard breast height is app. 1070 mm and standard window height is app. 860 mm. Please refer to the project planning guidelines. 5 year warranty for condensation inside the glazing units. Windowframes made from self-coloured, anodised aluminium profiles with broken cold bridges.
 
Integrated pass doors
Recessed entry doors are available for all door variants. They are always made to open outwards, and their location is governed by the choice of door opening, please refer to the project planning guidelines. Smallest clear height is 2240 mm for a sliding moulding and 2185 mm for a contact moulding, for installing the entry door. The width of the entry door varies, depending on the width of the door blade it is installed in, and is always the full width of what can be fitted into the door blade. As standard, recessed entry doors are equipped with Dorma 919 lock housings and Dorma 9002 striker plates.
 
Pull handles
Pull handles made of self-coloured anodised aluminium.
 
Insulation
50 mm expanded polystyrene foam.
 
Doorframe hinges
Steel. Multi-axis adjustable. Equipped with lubrication-free PTFE bushes. Screwed or welded into the door opening.
 
Locks
Garage latch bolts for padlocking on the inside. Cylinder locking on the inside and outside is available as an option. Compatible with Eurocylinder.
  
Intermediate hinge
Steel, welded on and hot dip galvanised.
 
Door blades
Welded steel tube framework, 50x50x2 or 50x50x3, depending on size. The framework is hot dip galvanised as standard.
Door surrounds
Steel or wood. Maximum door size for a wooden surround is 18 m2. At least 6 mm steel is required if an individual door section is larger than 6 m2. In other cases at least 4 mm steel. Three different screw kits are available depending on the type of surround.
 
Guide rails and brackets
Steel, hot dip galvanized and adjustable. Screwed into the door surround.
 
Safety
The rubber seals are designed to liminate the risk of pinching between door sections and between a door section and the wall. Optical anti-pinching strips are fitted to the
closing edges of motor-operated doors. All motor-operated doors have an extra photocell on the folding side. Each section has at least three load-bearing fittings to prevent dropping.
 
Seals
Seals are made from ageing-resistant EPDM rubber. The design meets the requirements of EN12453 without the need for extra protection.
 
Door holders
Automatic locking in the open position on both inwards and outwards-opening doors.
 
Surface
Inside and outside made of hot dip galvanized 0.6 mm sheet steel.
Finished with a 25 μm coat of polyester lacquer.
