Warranty – Lida folding door and industrial doors

This Warranty applies for 5 years from the day when the door was delivered by Prido AB.

Scope of the warranty

The warranty applies to all components in the Lida door, with the exception of the wear components specified below.

The Warranty covers material failure, design faults, production faults, abnormal colour changes, rust penetration of the outer skin or other corrosion damage which might affect the function of the door. The Warranty also covers deformation which affects, or which might be expected to affect the function of the door.

The warranty does not cover damage which arises in the wear components, PTFE bushes and any sliding rubber mouldings in normal use. The wear components must be changed in accordance with the maintenance instructions, at intervals noted in the user manual (“The Manual”) included with the door.

The warranty also excludes damage or consequential damage caused by the user or any third party.

The warranty applies on condition that:

1.	The door is not installed in a particularly corrosive or aggressive environment, such as in air with high salt content, in constant contact with water or where corrosive chemicals, corrosive smoke, condensation, ash, cement dam or animal droppings can affect the door components.
2.	The door has been used for the purpose for which it was designed, which is to serve as climate protection in a passage system for goods and personnel.
3.	The door has not been subjected to any other form of force, other than that needed to operate a correctly installed and maintained door, and the loading due to the wind.
4.	The service, cleaning and maintenance work specified in the Manual has been done and documented in the maintenance report in the manual.
5.	The door is installed north of the 37:th parallel.
6.	Accretions of dirt or other deposits have been regularly washed off the door blade and fittings, in accordance with the applicable rules in the maintenance instructions in the Manual.
7.	Manual doors have not been installed in places such that the temperature constantly exceeds 70°C.
8.	Power operated doors have been installed in an area where the temperature is maintained between +40 and –40°C.
9.	Full payment for the door and the work done has been made to Prido AB.

Warranty undertakings and claims

If any fault occurs, a written complaint must be sent to Prido AB within a reasonable space of time after the fault was noted, or should have been noted, but not later than the expiry of the warranty period. When a complaint is made, Prido AB reserves the right to have an impartial third party investigate the fault. When Prido AB has received the complaint as above, Prido AB shall rectify the faults which are the subject of this warranty, within a reasonable space of time and at their own expense.

This warranty does not limit the purchaser’s legal rights and the courses of action mandated by statute, such as the right to have rectification done, re-delivery, price reduction, right to retain payment, or compensation for rectifying the fault, or to revoke the purchase.

Garantivillkor – Ecolid vikport och industriport

Garantitid

Denna Garanti gäller i 5 år från dagen för då porten levererats av Prido AB.

Garantins omfattning

Garantin gäller för Ecolidportens samtliga delar, med undantag för nedan angivna slitagedelar.
Garantin omfattar materialbrott, konstruktionsfel, produktionsfel, onormala kulörförändringar, genomrostning i ytskikt eller andra korrosionsskador som kan komma att påverka portens funktion.
Garantin omfattar också deformation som påverkar eller kan befaras komma att påverka portens funktion.

Garantin omfattar ej skador som uppkommer på portens slitagedelar, teflonbussningar och eventuella släpgummislister, vid normal användning. Slitagedelarna ska bytas enligt gällande underhållsinstruktioner, med intervall som uppges i till porten bifogad användarmanual (”Manualen”).
Garantin omfattar ej heller skador eller följdskador orsakade av installatören, brukaren eller tredje man.

Garantin gäller under förutsättning att:

Porten inte sitter monterad i särskilt korrosiv eller aggressiv miljö, t.ex. i luft med hög salthalt, i konstant kontakt med vatten eller där korrosiva kemikalier, korrosiv rök, kondens, aska, cementdamm eller djurspillning kan påverka portens delar.

Porten har använts för sitt ändamål, att fungera som ett klimatskydd i ett passagesystem för gods och personal.

Porten ej utsatts för någon annan form av påverkan än den belastning som krävs för att manövrera en rätt installerad och underhållen port och den belastning som uppkommer av vind.

De service, rengörings- och underhållsåtgärder som föreskrivs i Manualen har utförts och dokumenterats i manualens underhållsprotokoll.

Industriporten sitter monterad norr om den 37:e breddgraden.

Ansamlingar av smuts eller andra avlagringar regelbundet har tvättats bort från portblad och beslag enligt gällande regler i Manualens underhållsinstruktioner.

Manuell port inte monterats på sådan plats där temperaturen kontinuerligt överskridit 70 grader.

Maskindriven port har monterats i ett utrymme där temperaturen hålls mellan +40 och –40 grader Celsius.

Full betalning för porten samt arbetets utförande av erlagts till Prido AB.

Garantiåtagande och reklamation

I händelse av fel skall skriftlig reklamation lämnas till Prido AB inom skälig tid efter det att felet märkts eller borde ha märkts, dock senast vid garantitidens utgång.
Vid reklamation äger Prido AB rätt att låta opartisk person undersöka felet. Sedan Prido AB mottagit reklamation enligt ovan skall Prido AB inom skälig tid och på egen bekostnad avhjälpa fel som omfattas av denna Garanti.

Denna garanti begränsar på intet sätt köparens rättigheter och de påföljder som följer av tvingande lag, såsom rätt till avhjälpande, omleverans, prisavdrag, rätt att hålla inne betalningen, eller ersättning för att avhjälpa felet eller häva köpet.
