CE-Marking
All Ecolid doors are CE marked to
conform to the Construction Products
Directive according to the relevant
standard EN13241-1. Poweroperated
doors are also CE marked
to conform to the Machinery Directive,
the Low Voltage Directive and the
EMC Directive.
Insulation value U-value 1,6W/(m2/K) for a fully
covered 4x4 m door, or 2,1 W/(m2/K)
with a single row of glazed
windows type B1, calculated
according to EN12428.
Air permeability Class 4, 1,8 m3/m2 h,
according to EN12426.
Mechanical durability Dimensioned and tested for one
million opening cycles according
to EN12605.
Water permability Class 3 according to EN12425.
Wind load capacity Class 3, 4 or 5 depending on the
size. Tested and classified according
to EN12444 and EN12424.

Window frames made from natural

Integrated pass doors
Available in all variants. Doors
always open outwards. The position
is determined by the choice of door
opening (please see the project
planning guide). A minimum door
height of 2800 mm is required to
accommodate a pass door. The
width is determined by the width of
the door section and can be as little
as 450 mm. Minimum width of the
door section with an integrated
passdoor is 860 mm. Lock case Dorma 919, striking plate Dorma 9002.
Pull handles
Natural anodized aluminium handles.
Insulation
50 mm freon-free polyurethane foam.
Door-frame hinges
Steel, zinc plated and powder
coated, with multi-axis adjustment.
Lubrication-free PTFE bushes.
Screwed into the door surround.
Locks
Garage latch bolts for padlocking
on the inside. Cylinder locking on
the inside and outside is available
as an option. Compatible with
Eurocylinder.
Intermediate hinge
Natural anodized aluminium.
Lubrication-free PTFE bushes.
Door leaf
Process laminated sandwich panels.
Thickness 50 mm. Maximum size
of a single door section is 1250 x
6000 mm. The frame for the
attachment of rubber seals, etc.,
is made from natural anodized
aluminium profiles. Cast-in steel
reinforcements as attachment points
for hinges, guides, etc.

Door surrounds
Steel or wood. Maximum door size for a wooden surround is 18 m2. At least 6 mm steel is required if an individual door section is larger than 6 m2. In other cases at least 4 mm steel. Three different screw kits are available depending on the type of surround.
Stable package
Doors installed in washing halls or in stables require a special component package for extra rust protection in order for the warranty to be valid. Not suitable for retrofitting.
Guide rails and brackets
Steel, hot dip galvanized and adjustable. Screwed into the door surround.
Safety
The rubber seals are designed to liminate the risk of pinching between door sections and between a door section and the wall. Optical anti-pinching strips are fitted to the
closing edges of motor-operated doors. All motor-operated doors have an extra photocell on the folding side. Each section has at least three load-bearing fittings to prevent dropping.
Seals
Seals are made from ageing-resistant EPDM rubber. The design meets the requirements of EN12453 without the need for extra protection.
Door holders
Automatic locking in the open position on both inwards and outwards-opening doors.
Surface
Inside and outside made of hot dip galvanized 0.6 mm sheet steel.
Finished with a 25 μm coat of
polyester lacquer.
