History

1973
The company was founded.

1974
The first product, the Lida door, quickly became a success with Sweden’s farmers. The Lida door is still included in our product range. Its design has been modified as years passed, however, and it is now one of the most modern framed, folding doors available, fully conforming with applicable European standards.

1994
The Ecolid door was launched. This is now our biggest product, and is Sweden’s best-selling folding door. This has a sandwich structure and complies with all the requirements one can make for function, quality and design.

1996
The ownership structure changed and the company left the “Borga Group”.

2001
The Prolid door was launched. Our first sectional overhead door, our biggest investment ever, with the ambition of widening our product range and being to develop internationally 

2002
Name changed to Prido AB. Prido is an acronym for "Professional Industrial Doors".

2005
Introduction of the Ecolid ES and Lida ES door models, which quickly became market successes.

2012
Completely focused on industrial doors, and with soon 40 years of experience as one of the leading actors on the Swedish market.
